What will not work

  • Only public videos. Private and friends-only videos are not served publicly.
  • Videos from accounts that have blocked downloads may be unavailable.
  • Clips are capped at 180 seconds, which covers the overwhelming majority of TikToks.

Does this remove the TikTok watermark?

In most cases the source file TikTok serves has no moving watermark, unlike the app's own Save video option. Some videos carry a watermark burned in by the creator's editing app, which cannot be removed.

Do short vm.tiktok.com links work?

Yes. Short share links, vt.tiktok.com links, and full desktop URLs all work.

Can I save just the sound?
